Adult

Cannon Class----The class is comprised of 40 members whose age group ranges from 40s to late 50s.  Several members take turns teaching the class.  The class is very active in the church and is a mission-minded group which reaches out to help others.
Contemporary Class----The class is a small group that focuses on contemporary issues and their relationship to the reaching of the Bible.  Some members share teaching roles.  The class supports various local service projects.  Any adult visitor will be welcome.
Covenant Class----The class usually studies the Methodist literature; however, the class is flexible and does study various important issues.  The class participates in helping others both in and out of the church.  Members of the class share in teaching duties.  The age range is basically 30ish to 50ish but everyone is welcome.
Disciple Class----The class is a discussion-style Bible study with application to everyday life.  The class is comprised primarily of adults in their 30s and 40s but is open to all.
Fellowship Class----The class is a group of friendly, caring seniors.  Four dedicated teachers have a Sunday each month during which they lead the class in the UMC Adult Bible Study.  They welcome anyone to join.
A.M. Smith Class----The class is the first young adult class organized at St. James; it is now the Senior Adult Class.  The class studies the UMC Adult Bible Studies literature.
Upper Room Class----Most of the class is over 50, but the class welcomes anyone to visit or to join.  Rumor has it that this is the "hugging/kissing class."  The members do love each other and show concern for each other's needs.  The class is presently working on a project to help needy children. The class also supports Mobile Meals monthly.
Young Adults Class----A Sunday School class for young adults (20s and 30s). We will meet each Sunday at 10am in room 104.
ALL YOUNG ADULTS ARE WELCOME!
