MISSIONS AT HOME

The Outreach Committee has created a directory of services that we can provide to members of our congregation in need. The outpouring of volunteers has been most gratifying - thank you! If you have a special need, or would like to volunteer your services, please contact the church office and leave a message for the Missions at Home Coordinator.

For help with those jobs that you find difficult or unable to do for yourselves, let one of our many volunteers give you a hand. Below is a list of jobs recently completed by our volunteers.

BUSHES TRIMMED EXTERIOR DOOR REPLACED
INTERIOR DOOR LOCKSET REPLACED CEILING FAN REPLACED
STORAGE SHED DOOR REBUILT STAIR RAILING REPLACED
SHORT PRIVACY FENCE REBUILT

Examples of services might include:

Transportation
Painting
Yard Work
Minor household repairs (such as plumbing, hardware installation & appliance installation)
Moving furniture

Examples of "clients":

Seniors
Single Women
Persons recovering from illness or injury
Persons unable to perform the task

Once a need is identified the "client" should simply call the church office to leave a message for the MAH Coordinator. The MAH Coordinator will check the service directory and contact a respective service provider. The service provider will call the "client" back to arrange the date and time for the serve.

The basis for this ministry is a network of volunteers that are willing and capable of providing these services to those in need. The volunteers can range from youth to adults, from single participation to group activities. The more volunteers we have, the more able we will be to provide assistance to our fellow church members in need.
